Specialist Psychologist Selen Karakılıç graduated from Notre Dame de Sion French High School in 2018 and subsequently completed the Psychology program at Koç University with high honors. She completed her master's degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at University College London (UCL).

During and after her education, she voluntarily participated in various programs for children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences and gained experience at institutions such as Moodist Hospital, EÇADEM, and Strength and Learning Through Horses (SLTH). Between 2024 and 2025, she worked as the Research Office Coordinator at Güzel Günler Health Services. In her clinical work, she applies Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-based interventions, conducts neuropsychological assessments, and prepares reports in both Turkish and English. She also takes part in educational projects and carries out work aimed at supporting the social-emotional skills and executive functions of children and adolescents.
